ANBI & public accountability

The purpose of the foundation is to bring about a resilient future in which people, planet and collective prosperity can flourish in mutual coherence, in service of society and of nature in the broadest sense.

The foundation does not aim to make a profit. Its statutory seat is in the municipality of Utrecht, The Netherlands.

The foundation pursues its objective by, among other things:

Advancing systemic societal transformation by equipping leaders, enterprises and institutions with tools and insights.

Developing and redesigning models aimed at actively restoring, strengthening and regenerating ecosystems, economies and the natural living environment in the broadest sense.

Convening decision-makers and researchers in innovative, collaborative and educational programmes in order to address complex societal questions, including but not limited to climate risk, the resilience of supply chains and just forms of governance.

Creating a new generation of sustainability approaches, directed at integrated social, ecological and economic value creation.

The assets of the foundation are formed by grants and other contributions, donations, inheritances and legacies, and all other acquisitions and income. Inheritances are accepted only under the benefit of inventory. Funds are spent on the programmes, labs, conferences and research described above and on the modest operating costs required to run them. The foundation holds no more capital than is reasonably necessary for the continuity of its work.
