This opening-day afternoon special session at ISDC 2026 aligned directly with the conference theme "Navigating Uncertainty, Managing Instability, and Crafting Futures Together." It addressed how corporations, governments, and international institutions can make regenerational decisions with better feedback from natural and social systems, rather than relying on incomplete or short-term signals.

Through live interactive demonstrations (EN-ROADS and the New Mexico Decarbonization Model), cross-sector testimonies from Europe, the Arabian Peninsula, and Africa, and a coalition-focused panel, the session illustrated how System Dynamics can underpin regenerative strategies in climate, energy, and economic transformation. The event targeted system dynamics researchers and practitioners, sustainability scientists, policymakers, and business leaders.
